Terms of Service

Last updated May 12, 2026.

1. What DogTags.gg is

DogTags.gg is a Discord bot + companion web app that helps gaming communities run bounty boards for extraction-shooter gameplay (DMZ, Warzone, and similar). Server admins install the bot in their Discord server; members can then post bounties, submit screenshots of dog-tag drops as proof, and track standings on a leaderboard.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to use Discord under Discord's own Terms of Service (currently 13 years old, or older where local law requires it) to use DogTags.gg. By using the service, you confirm you meet that requirement and that you accept Discord's Terms and Community Guidelines as well as these.

3. No real-money wagering

DogTags.gg is a community scoreboard. Bounties can show free-form reward text — “Hunter role”, “cash stash”, “clout”, anything the server admin and the bounty poster agree on — but **DogTags.gg does not process payments, hold funds, broker transactions, or enforce reward delivery**. Any exchange of value between users happens entirely outside the platform and is the responsibility of those users. If you operate a server, you are responsible for keeping your community compliant with local laws around gambling, prize draws, and giveaways.

4. Community standards

You agree not to use DogTags.gg to:
  • Target real-world individuals for harassment, doxxing, or threats. Bounty targets must be in-game player names, not personal identities.
  • Upload screenshots that contain content that is illegal in your jurisdiction, sexually explicit, or that violates a third party's rights.
  • Cheat or game the verification flow — e.g. submitting forged screenshots, impersonating another player, or claiming kills that weren't yours.
  • Spam, scrape, reverse engineer, or otherwise abuse the service.
Server admins are expected to moderate their own community. Persistent violations may result in the bot being removed from a server and the operator's access being revoked.

5. Admin responsibilities

If you install DogTags in a server you administer, you agree that:
  • You have the authority to install bots and manage channels in that server.
  • You will configure the bot reasonably — the AI evaluator can be wrong; mod review is required for borderline submissions.
  • You will not use server configuration to deceive members about what data is being collected or how it's used.

6. AI evaluations are advisory

DogTags uses an AI model (Anthropic's Claude on AWS Bedrock) to read submitted screenshots, score how confidently the dog-tag text matches the bounty target, and surface warnings. **AI output is advisory, not authoritative.** Auto-approvals require high confidence + a verified submitter; everything else lands in the mod review queue. We do not guarantee AI accuracy and we don't accept liability for kills that are mis-credited or mis-rejected by the AI.

7. Service availability

DogTags.gg is provided “as is” without warranty. We aim for high uptime but make no SLA. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we do, we'll try to give notice via the bot's logs channel when feasible.

8. Data and privacy

See the Privacy Policy for what we store, how long, and how to request deletion.

9. Termination

We may remove the bot from any server, or revoke any user's access, at any time for violations of these terms or applicable law. Server admins can remove the bot at any time via Discord's usual flow (Server Settings → Integrations).

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DogTags.gg and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service. Total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you have paid us in the prior 12 months — which is currently zero, because the service is free.

11. Contact

Reach the operator via the contact details published in the official DogTags.gg Discord support server. For data-access or deletion requests, see the Privacy Policy.
